Description

Black Meteor is a German jaeger built as part of the Kaiju-Jäger programme.It featured a domestic made Staffen-mark 8 chassis,allowing the jaeger good armour but also limiting its manoeuvrability,giving it a more defensive fighting style unlike previous German jaegers which roles for offence in a blitzkrieg style.The German JS engineers had this in mind for if a Kaiju enter too deep into German waters.Its weapons is the American made XS-1 plasmacaster,Titania claws which the name suggests,its made out of modified titanium,black hole cannons with the capability to punch through anything with its blast,and a black hole inner core which allows the jaeger to suck in objects near its radius and launch it at its enemy,making the jaeger a force to be reckon with.Building the Jaeger took a while,since the JS scientist were too busy experimenting new weapons and implementing into the jaeger.Fixing the black hole inner core was the real problem as the scientist had to try to find a way to be able to control the core from sucking on command.The titanium claw was another problem as shipping it to Germany was difficult and trying to fit it into the jaeger would increase its weight tremendously,which could be disastrous since the jaeger chassis was really heavy by jaeger’s standards to begin with.Both problem were eventually solved with heavy modifications on them.

History

Since Germany is not close to the pacific,not a lot of Kaiju entered Germany’s waters,hence Germany build Jaegers for offensive missions in the pacific.However at least four Kaiju’s did enter German waters,all which was destroyed by Black Meteor single handedly.

The jaeger first kill was off the coast of Warnemunde beach,Rostock,Germany on 4/12/2019 where a evolved version of Mutavor,conveniently called Mutavor 2.0, was spotted heading to the beach.All tourist and civilians in that location was evacuated at the time where the Kaiju was spotted and Black Meteor was rushed to meet with the Kaiju for the first time in its fighting career.On the water,Meteor could not spot the Kaiju.When asked why,The pilots replied that their HUD was fuzzy and they could not see clearly.At that movement,Mutavore rise up from the ocean and use its bladed head to cut the lower torso of Meteor.Meteor tried to swipe at the direction of the Kaiju but missed.The Kaiju roared in danger and charge at the jaeger once more.Hearing the Kaiju footsteps,the pilots judge the direction of the Kaiju and fire their black hole cannons,successfully hitting all of their shots.The injured Mutavor staggered about as Meteor charge in and use its titanium claws to stab it in its throat,killing it.It was later found out the evolved version of Mutavore had a natural jammer that cause the pilots HUD to go blurry and fuzzy
