Aurora Tau is the first Danish Jaeger, a Mark VI assigned to the Frøya Shatterdome in 2034.
History[]
The Second Kaiju War is raging. Many countries that border water are making Jaegers. Denmark and Norway was one of them. They named the project 'Project Aurora', it is part of a secret project and the planned Jaeger was mostly made of spare parts and a few custom ones with funds gathered from the USA in 2033. Construction Started in May 18th, 2033 and ended at 8th December, 2034. It was built in the Copenhagen COSDEC Construction facility. Copenhagen was not a landlocked place and was very prone to Kaiju attacks but Aurora was lucky to go through the construction process in 2034.
Shatterdome[]
It was stationed in the Gdansk Shatterdome for a day after its construction as they were preparing to ship it to its destined Shatterdome, the new Frøya Shatterdome, a Shatterdome made for a new batch of Scandinavian Jaegers.
The Shatterdome proved proved to be a extremely short lived Shatterdome as unfortunately, it was destroyed after standing for 1 month and 1 day after Aurora was installed there as a Category 6 Kaiju was attacking. The personnel evacuated to the Baja California Shatterdome 5 hours before the Kaiju attacked and Aurora was stationed in the Nuuk Shatterdome in Greenland 4 Hours before the Kaiju destroyed the Shatterdome.
Pilots were later selected in the Nuuk Shatterdome. Another Jaeger that was stationed there was Icy Marauder, another Scandinavian Jaeger.
First Deployment[]
The pilots trained for 7 months and were soon proved to be a little bit impatient and hasty. In spite of that, they went on their first deployment in the outskirts of Nuuk against a Kaiju called Snowbaron, a category III, on the 22nd of July, 2035.
Snowbaron was quick at first but not after a uppercut for Aurora. It blew icicles at Aurora and Aurora was damaged. It then sent 3 mortars at Snowbaron's head, severely injuring it but got tripped after that. Snowbaron crawled and trampled on the stricken Aurora and stroke its arm joint on the left, breaking its arm off. Aurora mustered its strength and got back up. It flinged Snowbaron and punch it in the face. Snowbaron bit Aurora's sword off and punched and scratched it hard.
However, the Jaeger had a second sword and swiftly impaled Snowbaron with ease. It was a victory. After the battle the Jaeger was sent for repair and heavy upgrades.
Destruction and second deployment[]
On the morning of 7th August, 2035, something big was detected.
Something 'different'.
It was Scyva. The Queen of Kaiju and a force to be reckoned with. The Nuuk Shatterdome felt hopeless. However, they decided to send both Jaegers in the Shatterdome to cause as much damage to the Queen of Kaiju as much as possible and then to be quickly and swiftly be evacuated.
Icy Marauder stood behind the lines, shooting Scyva from the back while Aurora wanted to do the melee. Scyva had a Snowbaron as a bodyguard but the Snowbaron was shot and impaled by Aurora as their pilots already had a handful of experience in fighting Snowbarons.
The comms helicopter orbiting the fight decided it was enough and they had already done some damage to the Queen of Kaiju. Icy Marauder was evacuated but not Aurora. It did not make it out.
Scyva, being a big Kaiju was rather slow and agitated by 2 Jaegers attacking it at once. When Marauder was cleared out, Scyva felt relieved and had only one target to focus on: Aurora Tau.
It destroyed it with a slash with its left arm through the conn-pod and into the core, exploding the Jaeger and killing the pilots. The Jaeger's corpse fell into oblivion, into cracked ice.

Zane was a Jaeger tech scientist and engineer born in Copenhagen in 2011 before losing his family in an attack by a Category 2 Kaiju.

Reeva bane was a Latvian J-tech Director who was born without parents in the [[REDACTED]] Shatterdome.
