Iron Sandrock was originally a Mark-V Jaeger designed for the Kaiju War but was repurposed and stolen by Jillian Johnson.
History[]
Iron Sandrock was slated for launch along with Stormer Eureka. Although Hydra Corinthian's pilots were slated to be transferred to Iron Sandrock, this never came to fruition due to their untimely deaths. The unit's development was halted starting from August 3, 2019 due to research limitations and budget constraints. It was abandoned and put into the cold storage of the Sydney Shatterdome. Stormer Eureka would soon meet the same fate in January the next year.
In 2025, Stacker Pentecost considered taking Iron Sandrock for Operation Pitfall. An inspection of the Jaeger deemed this impractical, as the unit only had it's inner frame completed and the cost of completing the Jaeger was too high to be feasible due to the already costly Mark-III Restoration Programme.
On July 2034, the remains of Iron Sandrock were to be transported to the Anchorage Shatterdome to be broken down and used for spare parts but the convoy was intercepted by the Wolf Gar Team and the Jaeger was stolen, refurbished and replaced Birdneck Trojan as Jillian Johnson's personal unit.
The unit was quickly thrust into action when the Wolf Gar Team and Giovanni Capello's group of thugs clashed. It looked as though the Wolf Gar's were winning due to their superior skills and training but, Giovanni unleashed his trump card; Domomote Vishnu, which was piloted by Petra Okita who was held hostage by Giovanni. The Jaeger started smashing and swiping at the Wolf Gar's and killed several members but was stopped when Iron Sandrock tackled it into the bay. Both Jaegers started fighting and neither Jaeger could deal any major hits to the other until Astro Flag rammed into Domomote which knocked Petra unconscious.

Built by PPDC and stolen and completed by Jillian Johnson, the Iron Sandrock is a customized version of Stormer Eureka. The Iron Sandrock can exhibit overwhelming speed during battle due to its greatly improved thrust, and has high maneuverability thanks to the flexibly mounted vernier units above the shoulder plates. The Sandrock Cannon mounted on the chest of the Jaeger can be changed to meet the needs of different battle, and this allows the unit to be highly adaptable. The combination of the unit's high degree of completion and the Jillian's excellent piloting skills caused the Iron Sandrock to be a formidable foe for any opponent.
